Focus on setting up and verifying new testers, operating HAST and thermal cycling equipment, and supporting cross-functional teams with equipment-related issues.

Location: Onsite in Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia

What you will do

  • Maintain reliability test equipment and chambers to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and first-level recovery for equipment and tester issues.
  • Support setup, buyoff, and verification of new tools and reliability testers.
  • Operate HAST, thermal cycling, vibration, and bend testers.
  • Maintain log sheets, calibration records, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams while following 6S, housekeeping, and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field or manufacturing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with reliability test chambers and equipment.
  • Knowledge of acceleration test methodology and semiconductor assembly processes.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong problem-solving, communication, and learning skills.
  • Willingness to work in Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia.

Nice to have

  • Basic programming knowledge.
  • Experience in drive-level reliability testing.
