BXMA- Direct Trading Operations, Analyst

Location: New York, United States

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 annual base salary, plus discretionary bonuses and potential equity or other incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Capture trades and perform cash and position reconciliations.
• Investigate and proactively resolve exceptions and trade breaks with prime brokers, fund administrators, and custodians.
• Communicate with sell-side trading counterparts regarding market updates and trade-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams on trade and compliance queries.
• Run end-of-day flash PNL and prepare ad hoc risk and performance reports for the investment team.
• Partner with technology teams to build control and performance-reporting solutions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience, including experience in treasury, trade support, or middle office.
• Expertise in fixed income, derivatives, and equity products.
• Comprehensive understanding of the trade life cycle and investment operations.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Undergraduate degree.
• Proficiency with Excel; experience working with technology teams on system enhancements.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working directly with traders in a dynamic environment.
• Python experience.
