Collateral Analyst (Derivatives): Managing daily collateral activity for ISDA, GMRA/MRA, and MSFTA agreements with an accent on margin calls, collateral movements, settlements, and reconciliations. Focus on investigating failed trades, margin disputes, valuation differences, and maintaining accurate risk and control procedures.
Location: Boston, MA, United States; hybrid schedule with four days in the office and one day remote per week
Salary: USD 80,000–150,000 base salary per year, plus potential bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do
- Calculate, issue, and respond to margin calls for OTC derivatives and MSFTA products.
- Process cash and non-cash collateral movements and lifecycle events, including coupons and interest.
- Monitor settlements and reconciliations, investigating failed trades, margin disputes, and valuation differences.
- Monitor collateral balances and eligibility schedules against legal agreements and internal guidelines.
- Maintain documentation and procedures while supporting risk management, controls, accuracy, and quality.
- Collaborate with brokers, counterparties, client relationship teams, trading, and technology partners to resolve operational issues.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree with a strong academic record.
- At least 2 years of experience in investment operations.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and escalate issues when necessary.
- Technical proficiency in Excel; Python and SQL experience is preferred.
- Understanding of OTC derivatives, agreements, and collateral is advantageous.

- Experience with Calypso Collateral, TriOptima, or Acadia.
