Data Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Translate business requirements and functional and technical specifications into data solutions.
• Design, code, maintain, review, and optimize complex Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures, functions, tables, and indexes.
• Create SSIS packages for data transformation, cleansing, caching, aggregation, staging, and transfer.
• Troubleshoot database performance, replication, operational, and production data-load issues.
• Perform data analysis and profiling, define data flows, and prepare system documentation and operation manuals.
• Implement database enhancements, bug fixes, reusable development standards, data validation, and unit testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases in a production environment.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• 2+ years of experience creating and working with SSIS packages.
• 2+ years of experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• At least 1 year of C# scripting experience.
