What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
- Build secure backend services supporting high-volume transactions, payments, accounts, and financial workflows.
- Lead architecture and system design for scalable, performant, distributed, and event-driven systems.
- Participate in production incident calls, troubleshoot failures, implement hotfixes, and drive root-cause analysis.
- Optimize relational and NoSQL databases, integrations, latency, availability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams; conduct code reviews and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of backend development experience and a track record of building enterprise-grade applications and APIs.
- Mandatory experience in financial services, banking, or fintech.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, Web APIs, and microservices.
- Experience with SQL Server, database design, Entity Framework or other ORM tools, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of API security, OAuth2, JWT, OIDC, encryption, data protection, PCI, SOX, and other financial compliance requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience with low-latency trading, real-time systems, or payment systems such as ACH, RTP, cards, or SWIFT.
- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Domain-Driven Design, identity platforms, core banking integrations, or Apigee.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
