Staff Accountant

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, Texas, United States

Salary: $59,000–$64,900 annually

What you will do

• Record General Ledger transactions and support the month-end close process.
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and support fixed asset and expense report processes.
• Prepare operational reports and perform financial analysis.
• Support annual financial audits and research new accounting pronouncements and standards.
• Assist with bi-annual testing of accounting system upgrades.
• Manage priorities, communicate status and issues, and collaborate with the Finance and Accounting team in a hybrid work model.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with General Ledger transactions, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• CPA or CPA-candidate status is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or comparable experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, multitasking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite.
