Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland; Monday–Friday day shift with out-of-hours on-call coverage and travel to other Johnson & Johnson sites as required.

Salary: €63,300–€101,315 annually, plus an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate utility technicians, contract staff, daily handovers, work priorities, training, and performance management.
• Manage the operation and reliable supply of clean and black utilities, including WFI, purified water, clean and plant steam, compressed air, HVAC, chilled water, and process gases.
• Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance, contractor activities, permits, equipment hand-back, spare parts, and maintenance documentation.
• Provide technical support for commissioning, qualification, engineering projects, investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and audit readiness.
• Monitor equipment performance, uptime, energy efficiency, and maintenance costs while eliminating recurring equipment problems.
• Maintain safe, compliant operations and deputize for the Utilities Manager when required.

Requirements

• Scientific or technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls, or utilities engineering.
• Maintenance experience in a GMP-regulated environment, including experience with GMP or clean utilities, HVAC, compressed air, steam, water systems, or Central Utilities Plant operations.
• Experience with DeltaV, PLC, and SCADA systems.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS systems.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, communication, problem-solving, planning, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to follow statutory, environmental, regulatory, cGMP, EHS, site, and team procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience with predictive maintenance, plant operations, continuous improvement, repair management, or agile manufacturing.
• Experience managing maintenance contracts, contractors, and energy-efficiency or sustainability improvements.
