Knowledge & Innovation Lawyer (UK Corporate Transactions)

What you will do

• Create and maintain model documents, forms, precedents, checklists, and other legal content for UK corporate practices.
• Provide legal, market, and practical expertise on corporate governance, equity investments, private M&A, and corporate reorganisations.
• Collect and analyze transaction data to support benchmarking, post-deal assessments, and market trend analysis.
• Monitor legal developments and support research, writing, and publication of client alerts.
• Deliver internal, trainee, associate, and client training on corporate transactions.
• Develop legal technology solutions, including GenAI templates, document assembly, AI due diligence procedures, expert systems, and client-facing applications.

Requirements

• England and Wales qualified solicitor.
• 6+ years of practicing experience in a leading City firm with a strong corporate law reputation.
• Experience managing, structuring, and negotiating M&A transactions for private equity and venture capital clients.
• Passion for knowledge-sharing, efficiency, and excellence in legal work.
• Interest in legal technology, artificial intelligence, document automation, workflow automation, and collaboration platforms.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in knowledge management or as a professional support lawyer.
