Robot Software Engineer II (Robotics)

What you will do

• Design and write robust, efficient C++ and ROS2 software for robotic systems.
• Develop algorithms for perception, localization, motion planning, and general autonomy.
• Build sensor data processing pipelines for LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, and proximity sensors.
• Configure robotic systems and troubleshoot software issues to ensure reliable operation.
• Design and execute software tests, analyze results, resolve defects, and validate performance in real-world scenarios.
• Collaborate with product, hardware, manufacturing, and quality assurance stakeholders in an Agile Scrum team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Strong software development experience in C++, including design, debugging, documentation, and version control.
• Experience with ROS2 or relevant robotics frameworks.
• Experience with at least one of perception, localization, motion planning, or general autonomy.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with sensor fusion and data processing techniques.
