M&S - IFB BMU Team Lead Warehouse

hirify.global is developing new automated and sustainable insulin drug substance facilities in Frankfurt, Germany, and Beijing, China.

What you will do

• Represent warehouse and logistics expertise in the insulin manufacturing project.
• Support warehouse layout, design, material flow concepts, HAZOP, and logistics technology harmonization between Beijing and Frankfurt.
• Review warehouse equipment, racking, material handling systems, and WMS designs; support vendor selection and procurement.
• Develop SOPs, operational documentation, and training programs for warehouse staff.
• Participate in commissioning and C&Q/OQ/PQ activities for WMS, racking, conveyors, and other warehouse systems.
• Build and coordinate an operational warehouse team of up to 10 people after commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
• More than 3 years of industrial experience in warehouse operations or logistics, ideally in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing.
• Technical experience with warehouse operations, material handling systems, WMS/ERP, and SAP.
• Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements for storing and handling raw materials, including hazardous materials.
• Experience with warehouse and inventory management, material flow optimization, and storage concepts.
• Good English writing and speaking skills, with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
