US Equity Trader

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with office attendance 4 days per week and remote work 1 day per week.

Base salary: USD 120,000–225,000 per year, plus potential bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Execute US equity transactions across cash and derivatives using high-touch and low-touch methods.
• Apply best execution, risk management, regulatory, operational, and liquidity practices.
• Analyze and disseminate market, sector, and security information to identify actionable opportunities.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, strategists, and analysts to understand investment strategies and generate trade interest.
• Develop trading relationships, locate external supply, and identify internal demand for liquidity.
• Monitor and improve trading efficiency while mitigating risk.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant trading experience.
• Experience trading a broad range of instruments is beneficial.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, fiduciary mindset, and risk-management approach.
• Undergraduate degree required.

Nice to have

• Programming experience.
• MBA or CFA qualification.
• Experience with a wide array of financial instruments.
