Investment Grade Corporate Trader

Location: Pasadena, California, United States of America

Salary: $135,000–$165,000 per year, plus potential bonuses, incentive packages, and company-sponsored benefits.

What you will do

• Execute alpha-generating trades across corporate subsectors for multiple fixed-income strategies and mandates.
• Partner with portfolio managers and contribute directly to portfolio positioning and outcomes.
• Generate market insights and research ideas, including relative-value analysis across corporate bond sectors.
• Maintain counterparty relationships and communicate intelligence on liquidity, flows, and pricing dynamics.
• Identify and recommend relative-value opportunities within and across corporate subsectors.
• Participate in global investment strategy meetings and engage with clients and external stakeholders when appropriate.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience trading, working on an investment team, or managing risk in fixed-income markets.
• Experience supporting an investment-grade credit desk is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of macro research and portfolio management.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with trading analytics, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, Bloomberg, Trumid, data analysis, and advanced Excel.
• Undergraduate degree required; CFA or MBA preferred.
