Manager, Pharmacy Audit (Healthcare)

Location: On-site at the San Diego Headquarters or another company location; remote work requires management approval based on business requirements. Domestic travel of up to 10% is required.

Salary: $81,581–$110,136–$138,690 annually.

What you will do

• Manage Pharmacy Audit and fraud, waste, and abuse operations, including desk and on-site audits.
• Design audit and FWA programs to reduce unnecessary drug costs, recover funds, and generate client savings.
• Establish quality, compliance, documentation, reporting, and delivery standards for audit operations.
• Lead, recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate staff while managing department processes and budgets.
• Support investigations, credentialing, regulatory examinations, accreditation reviews, client audits, and implementations.
• Use analytics, reporting, automation, and technology improvements to identify risks and enhance operational performance.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of subject-matter expertise in the applicable area and 3+ years of supervisory experience, unless the stated hirify.global alternative applies.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook; familiarity with relational databases.
• Knowledge of pharmacy practice, medications, prescriptions, statutory laws, regulations, and prescription fulfillment processes.
• Active pharmacy technician or pharmacist licensure in any U.S. state is preferred.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. A valid driver’s license and car insurance must be maintained.
