Maintenance Engineer (Roving)

Location: Minneapolis, servicing commercial properties around the Twin Cities

Salary: $28.00–$38.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on commercial building equipment and systems.
• Operate or oversee boiler, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and elevator systems.
• Complete demand repairs, general repairs, and adjustments to building systems, lighting, and plumbing.
• Coordinate and oversee vendor work across various commercial properties.
• Participate in on-call, after-hours, and weekend rotations.

Requirements

• General maintenance experience operating commercial buildings and equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer and computer application skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a helpful approach when interacting with building occupants.
• Valid driver's license, clear driving record, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Employment eligibility verification and authorization to work in the U.S. are required. Ability to work from ladders, overhead, outdoors in varied weather, and around smoke and other chemicals is required.

Nice to have

• Boiler operator license.
• HVAC knowledge and ability to make adjustments and general repairs.
• Microsoft 365 experience.
