Cloud Security Engineer (GCP/Wiz)

What you will do

• Lead hands-on onboarding and configuration of GCP Security Command Center and Wiz for new customers.
• Integrate high-fidelity cloud security findings into Google SecOps.
• Create parsers and UDM mappings to maintain accurate, high-quality security data.
• Write custom YARA-L detection rules correlating cloud posture findings with network traffic.
• Develop SOAR playbooks and Python-based custom actions to automate remediation workflows.
• Lead customer walkthroughs and troubleshoot integration errors and automation scripts.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Google SecOps (Chronicle), including parser creation, UDM mapping, and YARA-L rule writing.
• Proven experience configuring GCP Security Command Center and Wiz.
• Foundational knowledge equivalent to a Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer.
• Proficiency in Python for security automation.
• Ability to manage customer onboarding from technical kickoff through final handoff independently.
• Ability to explain complex technical configurations to customer security teams.

Nice to have

• Current Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or professional security certification.
• Experience building complex API integrations between cloud security platforms.
• Experience advising customers on cloud security best practices and long-term posture management.
