Associate Veterinarian (Veterinary)

Location: Onsite positions in Jacksonville, Atlanta, Winter Garden, Fort Myers, Delray Beach, Wellington, and Coral Gables, Florida. Some travel may be required.

What you will do

• Lead veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and assistants within the practice.
• Deliver examinations, diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures, including care for complicated cases.
• Explain diagnoses and treatment plans to clients and maintain accurate patient and medical records.
• Mentor and develop Associate Veterinarians and paraprofessional team members.
• Implement operating, safety, compliance, and medical-care procedures.
• Support continuing education, collaboration, follow-up care, and practice efficiency.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, DVM, VMD, or equivalent.
• Active state veterinary license in good standing, DEA license, and other required state credentials.
• 5+ years of experience in general medicine and surgery.
• 1–3 years of leadership experience.
• Strong collaboration, empathy, customer service, multitasking, and self-starter skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to 80% of a shift and lift 50–70 pounds, with team assistance for heavier loads.

Nice to have

• Two years of supervised experience with veterinary radiation machines.
