Process Support Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Shanghai, China; on-site customer support and 25% travel required

What you will do

• Provide on-site customer support through installations, system diagnosis, servicing, and repair of complex equipment.
• Work with customers to develop processes for manufacturing advanced semiconductor chips.
• Create hypotheses and design of experiments, analyze data statistically, and prepare technical reports.
• Troubleshoot complex process engineering and customer product issues through root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to solve problems, build relationships, and establish trust.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a semiconductor fabrication facility or equipment industry.
• English communication proficiency required.
• Willingness to work on-site in Shanghai and travel 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
