Market Data Services Analyst

Location: Boston, MA, United States; hybrid schedule with office attendance 4 days per week and remote work 1 day per week.

Base salary: USD 90,000–180,000 per year, plus potential bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead execution and continuous improvement of the firm’s market data program.
• Manage the full lifecycle of market data changes, including onboarding, renewals, cancellations, and modifications.
• Oversee market data inventories, invoice workflows, usage reporting, and licensing compliance.
• Own relationships with market data providers, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.
• Support investment teams and business units with expert guidance on market data requirements.
• Improve Optimize Spend and ServiceNow workflows, contribute to budgeting, and provide user training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Deep expertise in financial and market data services, vendor management, licensing structures, exchange rules, and reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of market data providers such as Bloomberg, FactSet, LSEG, and ICE.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, initiative leadership, and process improvement skills.
• High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data management and operational execution.

Nice to have

• Experience with Optimize Spend.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or ServiceNow.
• Experience with soft dollar regulations and procedures.
