Head of Equity Product Management

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Hybrid schedule with office attendance four days per week and remote work one day per week.

Base salary: USD 120,000–225,000 per year, plus potential bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the global strategy, development, and commercial lifecycle of the equity product platform, including revenue, net client growth, and channel expansion.
• Partner with Investment Platform leadership on equity strategy, portfolio architecture, manager transitions, and long-term scalability.
• Translate investment insight into compelling propositions and represent the equity franchise with clients, prospects, consultants, and Wealth platforms.
• Lead complex client engagements involving defense situations, repricing, transitions, and succession communications.
• Lead and develop a global team of 40+ product management professionals, including senior Investment Directors and functional leaders.
• Oversee resource allocation, product governance, risk escalation, team structure, and cross-functional strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in investment management with deep knowledge of equity markets.
• Significant experience in equity product management, investment leadership, or a closely related senior investment role within an institutional asset manager.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong technical proficiency with market data tools such as FactSet and/or Bloomberg.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, strategic judgment, and ability to operate across a complex global organization.
• Experience partnering with Investment Directors, institutional portfolio managers, analysts, and senior leaders; experience with succession planning, pricing governance, or investment committees is valued.

• Advanced degree such as an MBA, MS, or PhD.
• Professional designation such as CFA, CAIA, or FRM.
• Experience leading through market stress, performance headwinds, or organizational change.
