What you will do

• Serve on the Drug Product Team and develop functional-area strategies for pivotal and commercial-ready programs.
• Apply organic chemistry expertise to develop innovative drug product approaches within cross-functional teams.
• Design and execute experiments supporting drug product development objectives.
• Provide technical expertise on the structure, reactivity, and physicochemical properties of drug substances, excipients, and related materials.
• Collaborate with Drug Substance Technologies, Attribute Sciences, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Contract Manufacturing, Pharmacokinetics and Drug Metabolism, Clinical Development, and Biostatistics.
• Summarize research results in technical documents, regulatory filings, and presentations, while engaging with industry and academic partners.

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with relevant postdoctoral experience; or a master’s degree with 3 years of scientific experience; or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of scientific experience.
• Strong background in organic chemistry, physical chemistry, solid-state chemistry, and the physicochemical properties of small molecules.
• Experience with pharmaceutical development, particularly oral solid dosage forms, formulation research, and related manufacturing unit operations.
• Familiarity with characterization techniques including XRPD, DSC, TGA, and SEM.
• Ability to conduct independent research, collaborate cross-functionally, and produce precise technical writing.
• A proactive and innovative approach to applying digital solutions to scientific challenges.
