Salary: $440,000–$535,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop and implement radiology quality improvement programs aligned with departmental and institutional goals.
• Analyze actionable incidental findings and ensure appropriate follow-up and patient care.
• Standardize peer-learning practices and quality and safety best practices across the department.
• Identify clinical risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the Chair, section chiefs, executive leadership, technologists, nurses, administrators, and residency and fellowship leadership.
• Provide clinical radiology services, teaching, and mentoring within a diagnostic radiology section based on subspecialty interest.

Requirements

• Medical degree: MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.
• American Board of Radiology certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a medical license in Massachusetts.
• Training or experience in quality improvement, patient safety, peer learning, morbidity and mortality, and patient care excellence.
• Academic radiology productivity and experience leading quality improvement and patient safety projects.
• Ability to use quality improvement tools including cause-and-effect diagrams, driver diagrams, failure mode and effects analysis, run and control charts, Pareto charts, and PDSA worksheets.
