What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows.
- Lead and support large-scale data migrations across enterprise systems.
- Develop and optimize Apache Spark data processing solutions.
- Build backend services and data integrations using Java.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams on secure system modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong experience with ETL processes, data migration, and large-scale data processing.
- Proficiency in Java, Apache Spark, Scala, SQL/PLSQL, Linux, and NiFi.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, plus AWS.
- Active Top Secret security clearance required at the time of hire.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting Department of Defense or federal programs.
- Familiarity with large, complex data environments and legacy system modernization.
- Experience with Agile, Maven, and GitLab.
