Senior Mechanical Engineer - Mission Critical

What you will do

• Lead mechanical design and engineering for mission-critical facilities, including data centers and advanced manufacturing plants.
• Design HVAC, plumbing, piping, ventilation, fire protection, and fire suppression systems.
• Perform mechanical calculations and analyses in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, changes, scope, schedules, and deliverables.
• Review and approve drawings, specifications, submittals, reports, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, guide junior engineers, and oversee commissioning, testing, and system start-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 10+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience, including at least 3 years on mission-critical projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with the ability to obtain licenses in multiple states.
• Strong experience with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, and building energy management.
• Proficiency with mechanical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Trane, Carrier, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, IMC, and local and regional building codes and regulations.

• Experience in a design-build or integrated project delivery environment.
