Facility Management, Engineer

Location: Tengah Forest Town, Singapore; site-based facilities management work

Company

Development of the Tengah General and Community Hospital as part of the National University Health System cluster.

What you will do

• Support the Facilities Management Site Lead and Senior Engineers.
• Contribute to facilities management planning for a new hospital in collaboration with the Hospital Development team, design team, medical planners, and users.
• Attend design planning, interface, technical clarification, and other relevant meetings.
• Evaluate innovative facilities management and healthcare technologies, including automation and robotics, for potential implementation.
• Support facilities management functions, secretariat responsibilities, site team assignments, and ad hoc duties.
• Join the facilities management team to operationalize the hospital after completion.

Requirements

• Degree in Facility Management, Building Sciences, a related discipline, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in building and facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Experience with ACMV, electrical, mechanical systems, and facilities operations.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and M&E drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Healthcare facilities experience.
• Familiarity with BCA Green Mark certification and Green.Gov.SG requirements.
