Maintenance Mechanic 4 (Electrical/Mechanical Facilities)

Location: Singapore – Woodlands – NorthTech; onsite, full-time role with rotating 12-hour shifts and 24-hour standby availability

What you will do

• Operate and maintain facilities equipment supporting manufacturing, warehouse, and walk-in freezer areas.
• Perform hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance for RODI water, HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Plan and schedule equipment and system preventive maintenance, coordinate vendors, and supervise scheduled maintenance activities.
• Respond to manufacturing interruptions, troubleshoot equipment and operational issues, and handle out-of-specification scenarios.
• Monitor environmental conditions and equipment performance through Building Management and Environmental Management Systems.
• Lead problem solving, generate root cause analysis reports, support audits and change control, and contribute to predictive maintenance and improvement projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Ability to provide 24-hour standby support and work rotating 12-hour shifts when required.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare simple reports and maintain operational databases.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and independent working skills.
• Ability to work professionally with all levels of the organization and guide team members through problem solving.
• Ability to perform complex troubleshooting with minimal guidance and prepare comprehensive root cause analysis reports.

Nice to have

• Experience in cleanroom or manufacturing facilities environments.
• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong electrical fundamentals and hands-on troubleshooting experience.
