Medical Director – Medical Oncology – Evicore - Remote (Medical Oncology)

Location: United States Work at Home; 100% remote

Salary: USD 207,800–346,300 annually, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Complete time-sensitive, specialized, evidence-based medical necessity reviews using EviCore's case management software.
• Conduct peer-to-peer physician consultations with referring providers about treatment appropriateness and medical necessity.
• Recommend alternative services or treatments when clinically appropriate.
• Apply clinical expertise and current healthcare regulations to support evidence-based patient care.
• Collaborate with more than 500 EviCore physician colleagues across multiple specialties.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with a current, active U.S. medical license and ABMS or AOA board certification in Medical Oncology.
• Eligibility to acquire additional state licenses as required.
• At least three years of relevant clinical experience after residency or fellowship.
• Ability to work a set Monday-through-Friday schedule.
• Strong computer skills, including autonomous work with automated processes, applications, and systems.
• A company-provided encrypted workstation must be hard-wire connected to a modem or router; wireless connections are not permitted.
