Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA) - Real Estate Investment Associate (Real Estate)

Location: New York, United States

Expected annual base salary: $150,000–$175,000, plus discretionary bonuses and potential equity or other incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Underwrite and evaluate real estate investments, including direct assets, joint ventures, co-investments, and funds.
• Conduct transaction due diligence, including property visits, partner meetings, market analysis, and business-plan underwriting.
• Design and review financial models, perform sensitivity analyses, and assess assumptions, risks, and value drivers.
• Support transaction execution, internal and external client meetings, and due diligence sessions.
• Draft investment committee memoranda and prepare materials for investment discussions and client portfolio reviews.
• Monitor portfolio investments, analyze sponsor reporting, manage sponsor relationships, and conduct comparable research.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in real estate private equity or infrastructure investing or acquisitions.
• Strong financial modeling expertise, including ground-up real estate underwriting and sponsor model evaluation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft structured investment memoranda.
• Experience managing real estate diligence across multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, ownership, integrity, and collaboration skills.
