Operations Manager (Distribution)

Location: Macon DC (0875), United States; onsite, 2nd shift Monday–Thursday, 4:30 pm–2:30 am

What you will do

• Coordinate merchandise processing across several departments and work with Supervisors to meet productivity, cost, service, and accuracy targets.
• Manage staffing, workflow, direct reports, systems, and projects to achieve unit goals.
• Maintain inventory integrity and ensure prompt, efficient, and accurate merchandise processing and customer order delivery.
• Coordinate process and procedure updates and collaborate with other departments to resolve operational problems.
• Prepare and analyze unit plans and reports while driving results through leadership and operational expertise.
• Coach staff, provide performance feedback and assessments, and establish development plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree.
• Multiple years of related experience, including direct supervision in distribution, production or operations management, warehouse management, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of automated distribution or warehouse management systems, Windows, and Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to work hours supporting a multi-shift operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, stand or walk for at least 9 hours, and perform regular climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
