Business Technology Solutions Consultant - Intern (North America - University Students) (AI)

Location: New York, New York, United States. Hybrid working model combining work from home with on-site presence at client and hirify.global offices; travel to client locations and hirify.global offices is required as needed.

Salary: $13,750.00–$13,750.00.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end technology projects using cloud, data, analytics, automation, application, and AI-enabled engineering approaches.
• Translate business and domain requirements into practical, scalable technology solutions for client engagements.
• Design data pipelines, data platforms, analytical solutions, applications, and systems integrations.
• Manage project planning, scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, stakeholders, and delivery quality.
• Build client relationships, facilitate stakeholder discussions, and communicate solution trade-offs and recommendations.
• Use AI productivity tools, coding assistants, copilots, and agentic development tools across analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Must be a first-year Master's student in North America, preferably pursuing an MBA or a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Five or more years of consulting or technology delivery experience, including large-scale data, cloud, analytics, automation, or application implementations.
• Experience leading projects and teams, with strong project management, program management, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong enterprise data engineering foundation covering data modeling, ETL/ELT, batch and streaming pipelines, data quality, orchestration, APIs, testing, and production operations.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, plus modern data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.
• Knowledge of enterprise data management, advanced analytics, process automation, application development, systems integration, AI productivity tools, coding assistants, and agentic AI concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience managing virtual global teams and multiple projects or workstreams.
• Experience troubleshooting interactions among data platforms, databases, cloud services, operating systems, APIs, and applications.
• Ability to create reusable engineering assets such as prompts, code templates, workflow components, validation rules, test suites, and delivery accelerators.
