hirify.global Support Services provides metrology and calibration support for the US Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, align, repair, modify, calibrate, and certify Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
• Provide advanced calibration and repair services across electronic, electro-mechanical, physical, dimensional, mechanical, optical, thermal, fiber-optic, sound, vibration, pressure, flow, and illuminance equipment.
• Capture test readings using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, pulse generators, power meters, torque calibrators, and temperature and pressure measurement devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems and circuit boards to component level, including surface-mount technology.
• Maintain safety, security, quality management, calibration traceability, and accurate PMEL Automated Management System records.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, customer issue resolution, and technical guidance or training for other technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least four years of verifiable PMEL or calibration technical experience.
• Intermediate to advanced experience aligning, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, calibrating, and certifying TMDE and metrology laboratory working standards.
• Knowledge of AFMETCAL operations, calibration traceability, metrology techniques, laboratory practices, and applicable procedures.
• Ability to interpret block, schematic, wiring, and logic diagrams and technical documentation.
• Must satisfy background check criteria and be able to obtain a security clearance.

• Working knowledge of the Next Gen program.
• Advanced software application experience.
• Documented equipment and area discipline qualifications and an excellent quality record as a calibration technician.
