Senior Scientist (Polymer Chemistry)

What you will do

• Develop or modify polymer composites, adhesives, and sustainable material solutions for new application and performance requirements.
• Organize project work, schedules, and priorities.
• Conduct planned field trials and laboratory tests for new products.
• Coordinate departmental studies and experiments to address project goals and expand technical knowledge.
• Contribute to technology platforms and new concepts while preparing technical reports, patents, and regulatory documentation.
• Work across regional, divisional, and functional boundaries to influence business results.

Requirements

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in physical chemistry, organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, or materials science; a Ph.D. is preferred.
• 6–8 years of experience in a technical or research laboratory and/or product development environment.
• Experience in polymer chemistry, adhesives, or encapsulation technologies.
• Advanced practical knowledge of epoxy and acrylate adhesive formulation, including resins, hardeners, fillers, tougheners, additives, and photoinitiators.
• Advanced practical knowledge of curing, crosslinking, rheology, chemo-rheology, and materials processing.
• Advanced practice in experiment design, data verification, and structure–property–performance analysis.
