Gen Ed – Health Sciences Non-Tenure Track Faculty – Gallatin College (Applicant Pool)

Location: Bozeman, Montana, at either the MSU or East Frontage Rd location. Normal classroom environment; possible evening classes may be required.

Salary: $1,300 per credit. Appointments may be part-time and can vary from a couple of weeks to a semester or academic year. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

What you will do

• Teach Health Science courses for the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science programs.
• Deliver instruction in areas such as Human Biology, Microbiology for Health, Anatomy and Physiology I and II, Basic Human Nutrition, Chemistry for Health Care Providers, and Biochemistry of Health for Non-Science Majors.
• Work professionally and effectively with individuals and groups.
• Contribute to students’ academic success and the mission of Gallatin College.
• Share subject-matter expertise and support students through effective classroom instruction.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience working in a relevant field or teaching experience in human biology.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to teach in a normal classroom environment and potentially teach evening classes.
• Ability to work at the Bozeman, Montana, MSU or East Frontage Rd locations.

Nice to have

• College-level teaching experience in human biology.
• Medical Doctor, Physician Assistant, or nursing experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff enrichment.
