Adjunct Faculty - HHP Nutrition (Nutrition)

Location: Commerce, Texas, United States; instruction may be delivered on campus, off campus, or online.

East Texas A&M University’s Department of Health and Human Performance offers undergraduate nutrition education.

What you will do

• Teach up to two courses per semester in the B.S. Nutrition program.
• Develop and manage course syllabi in accordance with department and college standards.
• Plan lectures, in-class discussions, assignments, and examinations.
• Assess student participation and academic performance.
• Assist and mentor students as needed.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the relevant field for undergraduate teaching.
• Terminal degree in the relevant or closely related field for graduate teaching.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Successful completion of credential verification and a criminal history investigation.
