What you will do
- Design, implement, and support automation for AWS public cloud and private cloud software deployments.
- Build scalable configuration management, release, build, test, and deployment automation for development, QA, user acceptance, and production environments.
- Develop DevOps tools and scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Plan and automate releases to higher environments, including zero-downtime deployment approaches.
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams in an Agile environment to investigate application, deployment, and operational issues.
- Maintain secure SDLC practices, document results, and report system successes and failures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- At least five years of experience managing AWS resources and automating CI/CD pipelines.
- AWS Certified Developer Associate and/or AWS SysOps Administrator Associate certification, plus AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
- Advanced knowledge of AWS services and concepts including VPC, EC2, Route53, IAM, and Lambda.
- Experience with containers such as Docker or Kubernetes, microservices or event-driven architecture, and infrastructure tools including CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Proficiency in Node or .NET Core with C#, strong scripting skills, and practical Windows and Linux cloud administration experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure or Google Cloud, virtualization, release engineering, source code management, and automated build, test, and deployment environments.
- Exposure to NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, or DynamoDB and relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or Aurora.
