Fullstack ML Engineer (Robotics)

hirify.global is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI, designing global systems for data capture, labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows.

What you will do

• Own and maintain the internal annotation platform, including UI features, review workflows, and progress dashboards.
• Develop and optimize lightweight ML services, such as PII detection and blurring pipelines for video footage.
• Build data pipelines to efficiently move media and metadata between cloud storage, databases, and client applications.
• Implement tools for quality measurement, including inter-annotator agreement and dataset health auditing.
• Optimize PyTorch models using TensorRT or ONNX and wrap them in high-concurrency APIs.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work from Toronto (Hybrid role).
• Strong proficiency in frontend engineering using React, Vue, or modern JS/TS.
• Production-grade Python experience with fast, concurrent APIs (FastAPI, gRPC).
• Practical experience deploying detection, segmentation, or tracking models on real-world data.
• Must include a link to a portfolio, GitHub repository, or technical write-up in your application.

Nice to have

• Deep familiarity with video processing pipelines (FFmpeg, frame extraction, latency optimization).
• Experience building annotation UIs handling bounding boxes, polygons, or keypoints.
• Knowledge of active learning workflows or mining hard negatives.
