Fall Adjunct Faculty (Theater) (On Campus)

hirify.global is seeking qualified applicants for temporary, part-time adjunct faculty appointments in its Department of Fine & Performing Arts.

What you will do

• Teach undergraduate courses in Theater Appreciation, Acting fundamentals, and/or Playwriting & Analysis.
• Teach up to nine semester credit hours per semester, based on student demand.
• Deliver classes at on-campus sites or online when assigned according to student demand.
• Maintain office hours and assist students as needed.
• Communicate effectively with students and the general public.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Theater Arts or a related field.
• Previous collegiate-level teaching experience in Drama or Theater.
• Ability to teach undergraduate theater students and organize and prioritize academic duties.
• Ability to work under stress, meet pressing timelines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Regular on-campus attendance and face-to-face interaction are required.
• Applications must include a curriculum vitae, letter of interest, at least three current professional references with full contact information, and unofficial transcripts.

Nice to have

• At least five years of collegiate theater teaching experience.
