Adjunct Instructor - English

Location: Texarkana, Texas, United States; courses may be delivered face-to-face, web-enhanced, hybrid, or online.

Compensation: $2,400–$3,600 per undergraduate or graduate section, depending on course level and degree.

What you will do

• Teach English courses in one or more approved delivery formats.
• Load course content, including assessments and lecture modules.
• Grade student work and submit final grades on time.
• Meet with students and provide course-related support.
• Meet census, grading, and other administrative deadlines.
• Complete additional course administration as needed.

Requirements

• For undergraduate courses: a master’s degree in English or a related teaching field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline.
• For graduate courses: a doctorate or terminal degree in English or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline.
• Degrees and coursework must be from a regionally accredited institution.
• Resume or CV, graduate transcripts, and at least two professional references are required.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and completion of a criminal history investigation.
