26-660.B - WOA Maintenance Technician (PAC Tech)

Location: Deadhorse, Alaska; 12-hour per day, 14/14 rotational assignment on the North Slope of Alaska

What you will do

• Maintain and enhance PLC, DCS, SCADA, server, and PC control system components.
• Provide hardware and software support across multiple control system manufacturers.
• Maintain existing systems and participate in equipment upgrades and new system installations.
• Participate in design reviews and interface with Automation Engineering on maintenance and support issues.
• Build knowledge of facility operations, processes, and associated instrumentation while collaborating with team members.
• Follow safety practices, work schedules, attendance standards, and company operating values.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience with instrumentation and automation controls in an industrial facility.
• At least two years of experience working with PLCs.
• Working knowledge of GE Fanuc, Allen-Bradley, Modicon, or similar PLCs.
• Working knowledge of automation hardware, digital and analog process I/O, Ethernet IEEE 802.3, and TCP/IP networking.
• Familiarity with HMI systems such as Aveva System Platform and Honeywell Experion.
• Associate degree or an accredited two-year technical school certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; valid driver's license required.

Nice to have

• ISA Control Systems Technician Level 3 certification.
• Network certification such as CCNA.
