Cybersecurity Analyst - Tier 2

What you will do

• Monitor and triage real-time security alerts across SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring tools.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve advanced cybersecurity incidents, determine root causes, and recommend remediation.
• Document incident response activities, lessons learned, and maintain incident response playbooks.
• Collaborate with forensics, threat intelligence, IT, network administration, management, and other stakeholders.
• Tune alerts and improve the performance of security analytics and automation processes.
• Use SOAR platforms to automate enrichment, containment, and remediation, while mentoring junior incident response staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of enterprise-level SOC incident response experience.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and incident response methodologies.
• Strong experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and network monitoring tools.
• Experience with enterprise ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
• Current or planned certification such as E|CIH, GCIH, IHRP, CSIH, CIHE, or Certified Ethical Hacker.
