Interventional Radiology Technologist II

Location: Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, Massachusetts, United States; onsite patient-care role

Salary: $44.17–$56.32 per hour. Starting rate for Tech II: $46.00+; $15,000 sign-on bonus for new external hires.

What you will do

• Perform assigned interventional radiology procedures according to policies and radiological standards.
• Verify patients, procedures, imaging protocols, procedural steps, and scanner parameters.
• Provide clear patient instructions and coordinate care with other staff and departments.
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain patient and staff safety.
• Perform equipment and device quality control, maintain supplies, and keep work areas functional.
• Participate in continuing education and training.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification.
• Eligibility for a state Radiologic Technologist license.
• Two years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to stand frequently, walk, lift 30–35 pounds, and operate radiology equipment with fine manual dexterity.

• X-ray experience.
