What you will do

• Perform ordered radiological procedures using X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and related imaging technologies.
• Confirm patient histories and communicate relevant concerns to physicians and other clinical staff.
• Select technical factors based on patient size, physical condition, and suspected pathology.
• Process and review images, films, and records for quality, completeness, and accurate patient identification.
• Check imaging equipment, report repair needs, maintain diagnostic supplies, and enter exam and charge information.
• Protect patients and staff by following radiation, safety, QC, QA, and OSHA guidelines.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program.
• Three to five years of experience using multiple radiological imaging modalities for Level 1; five or more years for Level 2.
• ARRT certification and a valid state license in radiologic technology.
• Additional certification in specific modalities may be required where applicable.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and assist with positioning patients and equipment.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and work safely around patients, ionizing radiation, blood, and toxic substances.
