Salary: $89,800–$114,100 per year

What you will do
- Conduct factory acceptance testing on low- and medium-voltage switchgear assemblies before shipment.
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and checklists based on drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Perform electrical and functional testing, including continuity and control circuit verification.
- Identify and troubleshoot defects and non-conformances, documenting corrective actions with engineering and production.
- Support production builds, customer witness testing, and technical questions during factory acceptance testing.
- Prepare test reports and quality records, calibrate test equipment, and contribute to testing improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or a related field preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience in electrical testing within power systems or switchgear manufacturing.
- At least 4 years of electrical troubleshooting and analytical experience.
- At least 4 years of experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with multimeters, insulation testers, relay test sets, and motor or generator test equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, power distribution systems, protection schemes, and applicable UL, IBC, ANSI, IEEE, IEC, and NETA standards.
