Operations Reporting Analyst (SAP/Power BI)

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States; hybrid schedule with up to 2 work-from-home days per week, permitted only within commuting distance of a company worksite. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the U.S.

Salary: $74,526–$99,200 per year

What you will do

• Transform SAP and non-SAP data into actionable operational reports, dashboards, and business information.
• Design and develop BI reporting solutions using SAP BusinessObjects and Microsoft Power BI.
• Analyze and troubleshoot mismatches between reporting outputs and SAP source data.
• Collect business requirements, create functional specifications, and translate visibility challenges into data needs.
• Support analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production maintenance of reporting solutions.
• Coordinate multiple reporting workstreams with business, IT, BI, management, executive, and international stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 1 year of experience in business or operational data analysis and stakeholder-facing reporting.
• At least 1 year of experience developing reporting solutions with SAP BusinessObjects and SQL.
• Experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, or data extraction logic, and working with relational databases.
• Experience validating data accuracy against transactional source systems and developing operational KPIs or scorecards.
• Experience documenting reporting requirements, coordinating with IT and business stakeholders, and managing concurrent analytics workstreams.
