What you will do

  • Lead federal court immigration cases from initial filing through resolution.
  • Handle APA challenges, mandamus actions, habeas petitions, and FTCA claims.
  • Draft and argue complaints, motions, and briefs in federal court.
  • Prepare legal research and strategic opinion memos for administrative-level immigration cases.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across federal and administrative proceedings to maintain consistent case strategies.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 7+ years of experience in federal immigration litigation, USCIS, and EOIR.
  • Strong legal writing, legal research, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Expertise in at least three areas including APA, mandamus, habeas corpus, Bivens actions, or FTCA claims.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and advocacy for immigrant rights.
