Software AI Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build and ship AI agent systems connected to data sources and tools through retrieval, API integration, and multi-step orchestration.
• Deploy and operate AI models on cloud infrastructure while balancing cost, performance, latency, and scalability.
• Apply optimization and machine learning algorithms to robot fleet routing, scheduling, and coordination.
• Develop time-series models and forecasting for operational telemetry, including anomaly detection and predictive analytics.
• Deliver AI capabilities for physical systems where model outputs influence hardware behavior and must meet strict reliability constraints.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering groups and serve as an AI subject matter expert.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience building and deploying ML or AI systems in production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with LLM agents, retrieval-augmented generation, tool and API integration, and multi-step orchestration frameworks.
• Experience deploying and operating models on cloud infrastructure, with an understanding of cost, latency, and scaling trade-offs.
• Applied experience with optimization or machine learning algorithms for routing, scheduling, coordination, or comparable problems.
• Experience with time-series modeling, forecasting, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics on sensor or telemetry data.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in hard-tech or physical-systems environments where models run against real hardware and reliability constraints.
