What you will do

• Conduct independent and collaborative research on Trustworthy AI for improving cyber-physical systems.
• Lead experiments, simulations, and testbed prototyping activities.
• Publish research findings in top-tier academic venues.
• Teach one course per semester within the College of Engineering or collaborating colleges.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students involved in research.
• Participate in professional development, write grant proposals, and contribute to grant development activities.

Requirements

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field, earned within the past three years.
• Applicants who have completed all doctoral requirements but have not yet defended their dissertation may be considered, provided the degree is conferred by the appointment date.
• Research experience in Trustworthy AI applied to cyber-physical systems.
• Evidence of scholarly productivity, such as publications, software tools, testbeds, or datasets.
• Employment is in residence at Prairie View A&M University; immigration sponsorship may be affected by current H-1B fee and Texas filing restrictions.
• Employment is contingent on a criminal history investigation and credential verification.
