TL;DR
Video Editor - MX (short-form social video): Producing and optimizing short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms with an accent on motion graphics, typography animation, visual effects, and platform-specific storytelling. Focus on repurposing footage, creating multiple aspect ratios, integrating cultural trends, and ensuring accuracy across timing, captions, graphics, and sound.
Location: Mexico City, Mexico; fully in-office, five days per week
Salary: Competitive base salary based on ability level.

What you will do
- Edit and deliver short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
- Create motion graphics, typography animations, and visual effects for social content.
- Repurpose footage into platform-specific edits aligned with trends, client voice, and campaign goals.
- Produce multiple versions and aspect ratios, including 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9.
- Collaborate with Creative Leads, designers, strategists, producers, and Account Managers on client deliverables.
- Check timing, captions, graphics, sound, and overall accuracy across final assets.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional video editing experience; internship experience is considered.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Experience with motion graphics, typography animation, and visual effects.
- Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and CapCut native editing features.
- Understanding of short-form content trends, pacing, and storytelling.
- Availability to work on-site in Mexico City five days per week.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with generative AI tools for editing, captioning, or effects.
- Experience shooting social-first content with a phone or DSLR.
- Passion for pop culture, internet trends, and social storytelling.
