QA/QC Manager (Construction Quality)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain project QA/QC plans, procedures, Inspection and Test Plans, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and oversee inspections and testing of materials, equipment, installations, and construction activities.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits, document deficiencies, and verify workmanship before work progresses.
• Manage nonconformance reports, punch-list items, root-cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate quality activities with project managers, superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives.
• Maintain quality records and support system walkdowns, commissioning preparation, project closeout, and final turnover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, quality management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in construction, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, or related project environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction QA/QC processes, inspections, testing, quality documentation, and quality records.
• Experience developing Quality Plans, ITPs, inspection procedures, NCRs, corrective actions, and turnover documentation.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, technical documents, applicable codes, and standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project and field environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, cleanroom, MEP, industrial, high-tech, EPC, or design-build construction projects.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, piping, structural, or process utility systems.
• Knowledge of ASME, AWS, NFPA, NEC, ASTM, or other relevant industry standards.
• Experience with client inspections, commissioning, system turnover, and closeout.
• ASQ, CQM, AWS, ICC, or equivalent quality certification.
