Quality Technician - PPAP

Location: Roseau, Minnesota, USA; onsite presence in a lab office, production line, and fabricating floor.

Base pay: $24.84–$29.68 per hour.

What you will do

• Lead internal PPAP submissions and support external PPAP submissions.
• Perform dimensional inspections and qualification activities for parts, components, assemblies, fixtures, and production tooling.
• Operate CMMs, Faro Arms, and other precision measurement equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings, GD&T requirements, specifications, BOMs, and engineering documentation to establish measurement strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Develop measurement plans, prepare data files, and generate inspection and dimensional reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, production, supply chain, and suppliers to resolve quality issues, identify root causes, and improve process capability.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks through completion with strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Ability to operate critical measurement and test equipment and interpret blueprints, process routings, BOMs, and manuals.
• Knowledge of basic metrology, including calipers, height gages, and pin gages, plus advanced metrology such as Faro Arm and XYZ systems.
• Working knowledge of computers, basic math, AS-400, Intranet, Reliance, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
• Willingness to complete additional training when requested and maintain a strong attendance record.
