What you will do
- Act as the first point of contact between Inbound Supply Chain Management, suppliers, and internal customers.
- Monitor supplier agreements and performance indicators to secure materials availability for factories and field operations.
- Manage a portfolio of parts, assess demand changes and supply-chain risks, and define corrective actions.
- Participate in supplier improvement projects and drive operational improvement plans with logistics and quality stakeholders.
- Coach suppliers on systems, portals, processes, tools, and techniques.
- Improve processes using LEAN methods, including 4C and A3 problem solving, and report on materials availability and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- Two to five years of relevant logistics or supply chain experience, with the stated job grade allowing different experience levels by degree.
- Experience with planning, inbound supply chain management, production environments, and material planning.
- Experience with ERP planning systems, preferably SAP, and knowledge of MRP logic.
- Experience working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders and in high-tech, low-volume production.
- Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under United States Export Administration Regulations before starting work.
